Gitta Franconia

Gitta Franken , nee Mennenga , (* 1959 in Hage , Lower Saxony ) is a German author and songwriter who publishes in Low German .

Life

Franken grew up in Lütetsburg and Großheide in East Frisia . She headed various kindergartens in the Altkreis Norden.

Franken writes Low German children's books, short stories, plays, radio plays and poems as well as song texts, for which she also composes the melodies. She is a member of the music group Gitta Franken - Dreebladd .

Gitta Franken lives in Südbrookmerland , is married to the author Udo Franken and has two sons.
