Giulio Paradisi (born March 21, 1934 in Rome ) is an Italian film director , actor and screenwriter .

Life

Paradisi graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1955 and played regularly in supporting roles for Alessandro Blasetti , Francesco Maselli and others from 1954 to 1960 . Then he turned to a career as an assistant director that he had started in 1959 and during which he continued until 1967 a. a. worked with Alfredo Giannetti , Federico Fellini and Luigi Comencini . In the years up to 1976, he shuttled a little indecisively between engagements as actors in works by Giannetti and Ermanno Olmi , his own film Terzo Carnale - Avventura a Montecarlo , which he wrote, directed and edited (and which did not leave a lasting impression in the flood of films at the time) as well as numerous advertising films.

With Ragazzo di borgata Paradisi made a leap in quality, which he was able to redeem with the horror film Stridulum 1979 and the comedy Spaghetti House .
