Giuseppe Baldo

Giuseppe Baldo (born July 27, 1914 in Piombino Dese , † July 31, 2007 in Montecatini Terme ) was an Italian football player .

The midfielder initially joined from 1933 for Calcio Padova in Serie A on before it after the descent into the second division and one season in the Serie B to Lazio moved. He stayed there for seven years, with a one-year hiatus when he played for Vicenza Calcio . For Lazio he played a total of 169 championship games and six Mitropapokalspiele. He reached the runner-up title and the final in the Mitropapokal in 1937 . He represented the Italian national soccer team at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, won the gold medal with it and was used in four games. These were his only appearances in the national team.

He was the last survivor of the 1936 Italian gold football team.
