Giuseppe Mori (Cardinal)
Giuseppe Cardinal Mori (born January 24, 1850 in Loro Piceno , Macerata Province , Italy ; † September 30, 1934 there ) was a Curia Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church .
Life
Giuseppe Mori studied Catholic theology in Fermo and Rome . In 1874 he received the sacrament of ordination and then worked in the Diocese of Rome as a parish chaplain . In 1880 he was awarded the honorary title of papal secret chamberlain . From 1885 he took on various tasks at the Roman Curia , especially in the area of accounting. In 1908 he became Undersecretary of the Congregation for the Order of the Sacraments . In 1916 he received the appointment as Secretary for Legal Affairs and in 1922 he was appointed cardinal deacon with the title Diakonie in Carcere San Nicola in the College of Cardinals received. In 1933 he was appointed by Pope Pius XI. elevated to cardinal priest pro hac vice while retaining his titular church .
Giuseppe Mori died on September 30, 1934 in his hometown, where he was also buried.
