Glass holy

The glass saint is a wayside shrine made of red sandstone from the 17th century at a crossroads in the glass painting forest department 880 meters west of the Eichenberg near Frammersbach in Lower Franconia . It bears the enigmatic, possibly incorrectly redrawn inscription "CILICN MEILU" and is linked to an old legend. The church path to Lohrhaupten is said to have led past him. Today there are hiking trails to Frammersbach, the Bavarian Schanz , Ruppertshütten and via the Katharinenbild to Lohr and Neuendorf . It is also an important landmark for bike tours in the Spessart .
