action

The macabre comedy begins with the words "Life deserves death". It's about the question: 'What is left in the end?' According to the undertaker and coffin maker (Erwin Leder) it is about pine or mahogany. In the opinion of the almost bankrupt gravedigger, the appropriate coffin in the case of the deceased is made of mahogany, from which the deceased was tested while she was still alive. But the stingy heirs are difficult to convince. The police interfered in his persuasion through a misunderstanding. The consequences are life-saving for him.
