The Glasberg is a wooded hill in the Fichtelgebirge . Its summit is 628  m above sea level. NN in the southernmost part of the Kohlwald northwest of Waldsassen in the Upper Palatinate .

history

In earlier years there was an important road to Eger ( Cheb ) on the east side .

Buildings

Also in earlier years there were coal piles for iron smelting in Arzberg (Upper Franconia) . The Holy Trinity Church of Kappl ( 599  m above sea  level ) is located in the saddle hollow to the neighboring Dietzenberg .
