Gleb Safonow (born September 11, 2001 ) is a Kazakh ski jumper .
Career
Gleb Safonow made his debut on January 16 and 17, 2015 in Kranj in the FIS Cup , where he finished 71st and 69th. His next competition started two and a half years later in September 2017 in Kandersteg , Switzerland ; since then he has regularly competed in the FIS Cup, although so far (as of March 2019) he has not been able to achieve a top 30 placement.
At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Lahti in 2019 , he finished 60th in the individual competition. In the team competition he took 14th and last place together with Nurshat Tursunzhanow , Nikita Dewjatkin and Sergei Tkachenko , in the mixed team competition together with Weronika Schischkina , Valentina Sderschikowa and Sergei Tkachenko the 11th of 13 places.
At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , Safonow was 61st and failed to qualify for the individual competition. In the team competition on February 26, 2019, he finished 12th and last place together with Sabyrschan Muminow , Nikita Devyatkin and Sergei Tkachenko.
