Sabyrschan Rustamuly Muminov ( Kazakh Сабыржан Рұстамұлы Мұминов , Russian Сабиржан Рустамович Муминов Sabirschan Rustamowitsch Muminov * 16th April 1994 in Almaty ) is a Kazakh ski jumper .
Career
Muminow made his international debut in the context of the FIS Cup 2009. In August 2010 he succeeded in Örnsköldsvik for the first time the jump into the points. He then made his debut in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in his home town of Almaty in September . He remained without points in both competitions there and in Vikersund in December . In the following two years he remained far behind the points in both the FIS and the Continental Cup. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2012 in Erzurum , Muminow landed on 42nd place in the individual competition. Only two days later he jumped in the FIS Cup in Baiersbronn for the first time among the top 20. In summer 2012 and at the beginning of the 2012/13 season he did not win points. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2013 in Liberec , he ended up being beaten in 53rd place. Despite the lack of success, the association received a starting place at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme . He missed qualification in both individual competitions. With the team he reached rank 12 in the team competition.
In August 2013 Muminow collected Continental Cup points for the first time in Kuopio, Finland and reached 22nd place. He then started in the ski jumping Grand Prix in the A-team, but retired in all four competitions in the first round.
He achieved his greatest international success at the Winter Asian Games 2017 in Sapporo , Japan , when he and the Kazakh team achieved the silver medal behind Japan. In August 2018 he achieved his first point at the highest level of performance with 30th place in the Grand Prix jumping in Hakuba, Japan .
