geography
The Glegghorn is located in the Swiss canton of Graubünden , northeast of the municipality of Maienfeld , southeast of the Falknis . The Vilan adjoins it to the southeast and the Maienfeld Alps to the west .
Development and tourism
Although the Glegghorn towers almost 2000 meters above Maienfeld, it stands in the tourist shadow of the Falknis, which is 113 meters higher. The easiest ascent over the east ridge still has the high difficulty level T5 according to the SAC hiking scale .
