from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gleisberg is a hammer property in the area of the city of Glashütte .

The Werkweiler on the block floor was part of the Pirna Office in 1590 . At that time the name Gleißberg was common for the official hammer. In 1748 the name variant Gleisenberg appears. From 1856 to 1875 Gleisberg belonged to the Lauenstein court office , then to the Dippoldiswalde administration . The place was parish after Glashütte. Like Glashütte, Gleisberg later became part of the Freital district (later Freital district ), which was formed from the administrative authority and which became part of the Weißeritz district in 1994 . This in turn merged in 2008 with the neighboring district of Saxon Switzerland to form the district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains.

Six people lived in Gleisberg in 1834 and ten in 1871.
