Glenn Graham (born January 17, 1904 in Los Angeles , California , † July 19, 1986 in Nevada , Missouri ) was an American athlete who specialized in the pole vault . He started for the California Institute of Technology and weighed 68 kg with a height of 1.80 m.

Graham made it into the top ten of the world's best list three times:

  • 1924: 8th place with 3.96 m, achieved on June 14th in Cambridge
  • 1926: 5th place with 4.04 m, achieved on May 15 in Los Angeles
  • 1930: 9th place with 4.06 m (personal best), achieved on February 15 in Los Angeles.

In the Olympic year 1924 he could not place in the national championships, which Edwin Myers won, but qualified in the eliminations, which with a four-fold draw - Glenn Graham, Lee Barnes , James Brooker and Ralph Spearow jumped all 3.96 m - ended. In the final in Paris there was then a playoff between Graham and the only 17-year-old Barnes, which Barnes won. Graham won the silver medal; for both athletes 3.95 m were noted. Third place, James Brooker, jumped 3.90 m.
