description
The bell tower was built as an inner fortification gate in the first half of the 15th century to secure the valley settlement. It is connected to the middle gate by wall sections and thus forms a kennel . A defensive projectile with loopholes is located above the barrel-vaulted passage with a pointed arch . After the fire of 1679, the sloping half - timbered floor and the final octagonal tower were built by 1682 .
