The Gneiss Peak is a 103 m high and conical mountain on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . In the Larsemann Hills, it rises 1.7 km northwest of Blundell Peak .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1987 after the gneiss , the predominant rock of the mountain.
