go4city
go4city is a series of omnibus models developed by Göppel for regular services .
General
With the go4city series Göppel introduced its first own in June 2010 low-floor - city buses before. So far, the company had only produced bus bodies, mostly on MAN chassis, and passenger trailers for MAN low-floor buses. The go4city10 midibus with a length of 10.5 meters, the go4city12 standard bus with a length of 12 meters and the associated go4cityT passenger trailer and, in 2012, the go4city19 articulated bus with a length of 18.75 meters were introduced. The models were developed by Göppel in Augsburg , production takes place at the headquarters in Nobitz- Ehrenhain , Thuringia .
At the end of 2010, Göppel presented a prototype of the go4city12H , a standard bus with hybrid drive that was created in cooperation with Vossloh Kiepe . It serves the Fraunhofer IVI in Dresden as a test vehicle . This was converted into the go4city12E electric bus in 2014 . A double articulated bus prototype has also been available since 2012; the 30-meter-long Autotram was developed together with the Fraunhofer IVI .

There are three variants of the in-line six-cylinder diesel engine DAF PR with 183 kW / 249 PS, 228 kW / 310 PS or 265 kW / 360 PS to choose from. Power is transmitted by the ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic transmission . The steering and axles are also from ZF. The driver's seat is equipped with the VDV II dashboard.
