The Goat River is a 63 km long right tributary of the Mattawitchewan River in the north of the Canadian province of Ontario .
The Goat River forms the drain of Minnipuka Lake in the north of the Algoma District . The Goat River initially flows through Lower Minnipuka Lake and Goat Lake . It then flows north through the Canadian Shield . Finally, the Goat River flows into the Mattawitchewan River, 25 km above its mouth into the Missinaibi River .
