The Gockelkamm is a mountain ridge in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises up at the southern end of Sverdrupfjella between Alanpiggen and Nupskåpa .
The mountain range was discovered and named during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar researcher Alfred Ritscher . It is named after Wilhelm Gockel (* 1908), meteorologist on this research trip.
