The Nupskåpa ( English Nupskåpa Peak ) is an icy mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises up immediately south of the Reecedalen in Sverdrupfjella .
Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs taken by the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE, 1949–1952). Further aerial photos were taken during the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960). Its Norwegian name means something like "summit coat".
