The Goettingen Journal of International Law is an online legal journal founded in 2007 . The journal focuses on general international law and related topics such as international business law , international criminal law and international relations . It is published by students from the Georg-August University in cooperation with the Göttingen Institute for International and European Law and the Göttingen University Press.

The selection of the contributions takes place via a peer review process. This is carried out by the Scientific Advisory Board, which is made up of advanced doctoral and post-doctoral students and thus guarantees the scientific nature of the journal. The student editorial team is also supported by an advisory board made up of professors and practitioners who are supposed to ensure the high scientific standard. Members of the journal's Advisory Board are
Kai Ambos , Thomas Buergenthal , Christian Calliess , Georg Nolte , Angelika Nußberger , Andreas L. Paulus , Dietrich Rauschning , Walter Reese-Schäfer , Frank Schorkopf , Bruno Simma and Peter-Tobias Stoll .
