Goetz Kronburger

Goetz Kronburger (born February 10, 1933 in Berlin ; † September 28, 2019 ) was a German radio and television journalist .

Life

Kronburger began his broadcasting career in 1947 with the Berliner Rundfunk. Until 1954 he also worked for the NWDR and RIAS . The trained actor started out as a newscaster at the Sender Freies Berlin (SFB). Later he reported as a reporter for SFB 1 and the SFB-Stadtradio Berlin 88.8 . Programs such as Rund um dem Funkturm , Treffpunkt Funkhaus and Rund um der Berolina have become his trademarks.

His show Meeting Point on the Go on SFB television was produced in hospitals, retirement homes and leisure centers. Kronburger also moderated numerous public events such as the hangover breakfast on New Year's morning and various dance evenings. He could be heard far beyond the city limits on the ARD night express .

After more than 40 years of work, Goetz Kronburger retired in 1998.

The former radio and television journalist had been ill for a long time when he died on September 28, 2019.
