The Goetz Fried AG is a former IT - and engineering provider with headquarters in Wiesbaden . The range of services included the recruitment, provision and control of IT experts and engineers as well as the conception and implementation of IT and engineering projects. On January 21, 2019, Goetzfried AG was transferred to Allgeier Experts SE as Allgeier Experts Go GmbH .
Company history
The company was founded in 1987 by Thomas Götzfried as Softwareservice Goetzfried eK in Frankfurt. On July 1, 2000, the name was changed to Goetzfried AG. Subsidiaries were gradually established in Wiesbaden, Stuttgart, Cologne and Zurich. Since August 2006, Goetzfried AG has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Allgeier SE in exchange for a double-digit million sum . Further branches in Hamburg and Berlin followed. From October 2010 onwards, Goetzfried was the subject of public discussion about the awarding practice of the Hessian state company HZD . The allegations, which originated mainly from the faction of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in the Hessian state parliament, proved to be baseless.
On January 1, 2012, Goetzfried AG merged with the IT service provider Next GmbH, also a subsidiary of Allgeier SE.
On January 1, 2015, Goetzfried AG also merged with the IT service provider TOPjects GmbH, another sister company from the Allgeier SE association.
In April 2015, Goetzfried AG announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the personnel consulting agency SearchConsult GmbH.
In August 2015, Goetzfried AG announced the outsourcing of its IT and engineering services with employed experts to the subsidiary Goetzfried Professionals GmbH, founded in 2014.
At the beginning of January 2016, Goetzfried AG announced the return of Thomas Götzfried - founder, long-time executive and supervisory board chairman - to the company's executive board. Together with him, Andreas Nader formed the newly formed top management.
On January 1, 2017, Bernd Sauer, previously Vice President Sales, was appointed to the board of Goetzfried AG. He succeeded Thomas Götzfried, who moved to the management board of the parent company Allgeier Experts SE at the end of the year. Allgeier Experts bundles the subsidiaries of the Goetzfried Group as well as tecops, UNP, Recompli, SearchConsult and Oxygen.
On January 21, 2019, Goetzfried AG was transferred to Allgeier Experts SE as Allgeier Experts Go GmbH .
