The Goldschmiedsborn is a southern and orographically left tributary of the Weiß in the Wilgersdorf district , in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district , in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

course

The Goldschmiedsborn rises at an altitude of 519  m above sea level. NHN on the north slope of 579  m above sea level. NHN high mountain cold oak , about 400 meters from its summit. Its source (also called Goldschmiedsborn) was taken like a well by the Sauerland Mountain Association. From there, the Goldschmiedborn turns initially in a north-westerly direction, later in a predominantly north-facing direction. After a while, and feeding a pond, the forest is replaced by a meadow landscape. After taking in a small tributary from the left, near the former mine site Neue Hope , and crossing under the main street of Wilgersdorf , the stream reaches the village of the same name. It now turns in a north-easterly direction, and flows a few hundred meters at an altitude of 375  m above sea level. NHN in an open meadow valley in the Sieg coming from the right - tributary white .
