history
The ruins of the Nippenburg and the manor house Schloss Nippenburg are in the immediate vicinity of the golf course. The 90 hectare area, once used for agriculture, was converted into a modern golf course in 1995. The top German golfer Bernhard Langer was responsible for planning the 6,154-meter-long course at par 71 .

In addition to the 18-hole championship course, there is a practice facility with a two-story driving range, putting and chipping greens and three practice bunkers.
