Golm is a deserted area in the area of ​​the town of Perleberg in the Prignitz district . The term "Golm" comes from the Slavic and means a mountain or hill.

The village was located in the valley of the Stepenitz north of the river and southeast of the Golmer mountain , which has meanwhile been largely removed for gravel extraction. Today the road from the Perleberg district of Lübzow to Groß Linde crosses the area.

history

The council and civil parish of the city of Perleberg acquired the village in 1392 from the von Karstedt family . In 1395 it was given to the Heilig-Geist-Hospital (St. Spiritus). In the 15th century the village became desolate.
