Lübzow is a district of the town of Perleberg in the Prignitz district .

geography

Lübzow is in the northeast of the city of Perleberg. Neighboring to the southeast is the Perleberg district of Rosenhagen , and to the southwest is Spiegelhagen . Groß Buchholz joins in the northwest and Groß Linde in the north . In the east, Lübzow borders on the community of Groß Pankow (Prignitz) .

The northern border of Lübzow mainly follows the course of the Stepenitz , which flows here through the Stepenitz nature reserve. Only in the west of the district belongs a small piece of land north of the river to Lübzow. In this area, on the border with Groß Linde , lies the Golm desert .

The Lübzow Expansion is located on the eastern border of the district .

history

The first known documentary mention of Lübzow comes from 1312 ( Lubbezow ).

The place was incorporated into Groß Linde on July 1, 1950. On January 1, 1974, it was incorporated into the district town of Perleberg.

Buildings

The Lübzower village church is the smallest church in Prignitz. The mixed construction of field stones and bricks has a length of 10.60 m.
