Groß Linde is a district of the town of Perleberg in the Prignitz district . 45 inhabitants live in the round village.

geography

Groß Linde is located in the northeast of the city of Perleberg. To the south is the Perleberg district of Lübzow . In the west the district of Groß Buchholz joins , in the north the district of Gramzow . In the east, Groß Linde borders the municipality of Groß Pankow (Prignitz) with its part of the municipality of Klein Linde .

The northern section of the western border of Groß Linde follows the Schlatbach , before it turns to the southeast and then runs entirely in the area of ​​Groß Linde. The southern border of the place is marked by the Stepenitz . The Stepenitz nature reserve extends along the Stepenitz and the lower reaches of the Schlatbach.

history

The first known documentary mention of Groß Linde comes from 1345 ( groten lynde ). At that time, Groß Linde was owned by the Knights of Quitzow .

On July 1, 1950, Lübzow was incorporated into Groß Linde. On January 1, 1974, Groß Linde had to give up its own independence. The community was incorporated into the district town of Perleberg.
