Gonçalo Matias Ramos (born June 20, 2001 in Olhão ) is a Portuguese football player . The striker plays for Benfica Lisbon B and is a young Portuguese national player.

Career

Ramos, who was born in Olhão , started his career at SC Olhanense in his home country before moving to CB Loulé in 2011 . Two years later he then moved to the youth of Benfica Lisbon . On January 13, 2019, he made his debut for Benfica Lisbon B in the Segunda Liga in a 3-2 home loss to Sporting Braga B when he came on for Nuno Santos in the 82nd minute .

National team

Ramos finished second with the Portuguese U19 national soccer team in the 2019 U-19 European Football Championship . He became the top scorer with four goals in five games.
