The SUV models GS50 (in Thailand: CX) and Jetstar are sport utility vehicles of the Chinese car brand Gonow and were produced from 2005 to 2012. The two models Jetstar and GS50 are sister models and also plagiarisms of the Thai ISUZU MU-7 . A facelift was carried out on the same platform (GA6490) in spring 2008 and the GS50 II (in Thailand: DX) was introduced as a parallel model to the normal GS50. Visually, the new model has been matched to the Shuaijian .
The standard equipment included manual air conditioning, central locking with remote control, MABS, roof antenna, roof rails, reversing sensors and reversing camera, LCD monitor in the dashboard, electronically operated side windows and green UV filter glass.
Gonow provided the engine with a diesel version of the in-house type 4JB1 with a displacement of 2771 cm³ and an output of 57 kW . Depending on the market, the models of this version were offered as left or right-hand drive. In addition, this version was also offered either with leather seats or only with fabric-covered seats. Alternatively, the leather interior was also available for an extra charge. Although the higher versions already offered a DVD player as standard, the 4JB1 only had a CD player built in. Here, too, the upgrade was only available at an additional cost. Alternatively, a VCD player was also available. However, Gonow refrained from paying a surcharge when choosing a metallic paintwork. The middle stage was the turbodiesel version 4JB1 EGR with built-in exhaust gas recirculation . Here, too, the displacement was 2771 cm³, while the engine output was increased to 67.6 kW. As the top engine, Gonow produced the GA491QE with EFI . This made 75 kW from a displacement of 2237 cm³.
