Gonzalo Bazallo , full name Gonzalo Javier Bazallo Strada , (born April 29, 1986 in Montevideo or San Antonio) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
Depending on the sources, 1.75 meters or 1.76 meters tall midfield or offensive player Bazallo belonged to the squad of Club Atlético Bella Vista in Montevideo at least from Apertura 2006 to Clausura 2011 . His club was relegated to the Segunda División in 2009 , but returned to the top Uruguayan league the following year. In the 2010/11 season he played 16 games in the Primera División . He didn't score a goal. In September 2011 he joined the second division club Atlético Atenas from San Carlos . In August 2012 he moved to Club Atlético Rentistas , with whom he rose at the end of the season. In 2013/14 he ran in 28 first division matches (one goal) at the club, which is also based in Montevideo. In the 2014/15 season he was used 27 times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league and twice (no goal) in the 2014 Copa Sudamericana . In mid-July 2015, he joined the Brazilian second division club Botafogo Rio de Janeiro on loan . Without playing a competitive game with the Brazilians, he moved to Universidad O&M FC in the Dominican Republic in February 2016 . He has been back in the Atenas squad since the end of January 2017 and has so far (as of July 17, 2017) played 13 second division games (two goals).
