Gonzalo González , full name Gonzalo Federico González Pereyra , (born October 7, 1993 in Rocha ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.80 meter tall midfielder González comes from the youth department of the first division club Danubio FC . At Apertura 2013 he was included in the first team squad. In the 2013/14 season he played a game in the Primera División . His team won the Uruguayan championship that season. In the 2014/15 season he was used eight times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league and once (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2014 . During the 2015/16 season he was used in nine top division games (no goal). In the 2016 season he played eleven times (no goal) in the Primera División. In 2018 he moved to Argentina for half a year . Here he played for Arsenal de Sarandí in the second division, the Primera B Nacional . In mid-2018 he went to Europe . Here he signed a contract in Greece with Apollon Smyrnis . The contract was terminated at the end of 2018. In February 2019 he went back to his homeland and joined the first division club Atlético Juventud de Las Piedras from Las Piedras . For the club, he completed 30 first division games. In 2020 he moved to Asia . In Japan he signed a contract with the second division club Albirex Niigata in Niigata .
