The Goose Lake is a lake in the Borough Anchorage south of the US state of Alaska .
Canada Geese in Goose Lake
The lake is located at a height of 43 m just under 2 km southeast of the confluence of the North and South Fork of Chester Creek . The University of Alaska Anchorage is just south of the lake. To the north is Goose Lake Park , a recreational area of the city of Anchorage with swimming facilities.
