Gora Stahanova ( transliteration from Russian Гора Стаханова Gora Stachanowa ) is a nunatak in the East Antarctic Coatsland . In the Read Mountains of the Shackleton Range, it rises southeast of the Strachey Stump .
Russian scientists named him. The further naming background has not been passed down. A possible namesake is the Russian miner Alexei Grigoryevich Stachanow (1906–1977), after whom the Stakhanov movement was named.
