Goran Marković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Горан Марковић ; born on August 24, 1946 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian film and theater director.

Life

Goran Marković is the son of Rade Marković and Olivera Marković . He studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague . For the films Već viđeno (1987) and Sabirni centar (1989) he received the award of the Pula Film Festival . His film Tito i ja (1992) won the San Sebastian Film Festival award . Marković lives in Belgrade and teaches at the Faculty of Performing Arts and is a member of the European Film Academy . Goran Marković was a staunch critic of Slobodan Milošević .

Goran Marković is a signatory of the declaration published in 2017 on the common language of Croats , Serbs , Bosniaks and Montenegrins .
