Olivera Marković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Оливера Марковић born Olivera Đorđević ; born May 3, 1925 in Belgrade , Yugoslavia , † July 2, 2011 in Belgrade, Serbia ) was a Yugoslav- Serbian actress . In 1964 and 1983 she received awards at the Pula Film Festival for her role in the films Službeni položaj (1964) and Balkan ekspres (1983).

Life

Olivera Marković began acting at the age of nine at the Niška Banja Theater , where she later became a writer. In 1948 she enrolled at the Belgrade Theater Academy with Mata Milošević. Since 1951 she was a member of the Beogradsko dramsko pozorište. She has appeared in more than 150 theater roles and in over 50 films. In addition to her acting activities, she was a well-known singer, mainly of Russian romances.

From her marriage to Rade Marković , the son Goran Marković , who is a well-known film director, emerged.
