The Gordon Peak is a 1467 m (according to other information 1484 m ) high mountain in the East Antarctic Mac-Robertson-Land . It is the highest peak of the Sørtindane in the Framnes Mountains .
The mountain was used by scientists at Mawson Station in 1965 to build a trigonometric measuring station. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after Fr. John Gordon, who was working as a radio technician on Mawson Station that year .
