The Gordon Spur is a mountain ridge in Queen Elizabeth Land, West Antarctica . In the Neptune Range of the Pensacola Mountains , it extends from the western flank of Mount Coulter in the Schmidt Hills to the Foundation Ice Stream .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2010. It is named after the British geomorphologist John Gordon, who studied the sub-Antarctic islands from the 1970s to the 2000s .
