Life

He was born as the third son of the organ builder Johann Heinrich Gloger . His two older brothers Johann Wilhelm Gloger (1702–1760) and Dietrich Christoph Gloger (between 1704 and 1708–1773) also learned the organ building trade. In 1746 he received the royal privilege as an organ builder in Norway. In his time he was considered the greatest Norwegian organ builder. Gloger was married four times (1745–1763 with Pernille Nielsdatter Klastrup, 1770–1772 with Christina Lund, 1773 with Lucia Rasbech and 1774 until his death with Ester Abel Parelius).
