Gottfried Kritzler

Gottfried Kritzler (born March 27, 1859 in Fränkisch-Crumbach , † June 7, 1913 in Tonala, Mexico ) was a German administrative and consular officer.

Life

Gottfried Jakob Ludwig Kritzler attended grammar school in Darmstadt and studied at the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg and at the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin . In 1881 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service with a time as a trainee lawyer in Pyritz. In 1890 he passed the government assessor examination in Bromberg . On September 16, 1897 he married Mathilde Breithaupt (born August 2, 1873 in Strasbourg) in Posen. As a government assessor of the Bromberg government , he became district administrator of the Strelnow district in 1899 . In September 1902 he was put into temporary retirement for health reasons. After a short time in Cairo, Egypt, he went to Mexico. There he accepted an appointment from the Foreign Office as a retired Prussian civil servant and became German Vice Consul in Salina Cruz .
