Gottfried Pieck

Gottfried Pieck (born July 5, 1903 in Walberberg ; † March 27, 1986 ) was a German politician and member of the CDU state parliament .

Life and work

After attending school and graduating from high school , he completed an apprenticeship in banking and worked for Deutsche Bank AG from 1923 . Pieck became a member of the CDU in 1946. He was represented in numerous party committees.

From April 20, 1947 to July 12, 1958 and from July 21, 1962 to July 23, 1966 Pieck was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in constituency 020 Bonn-Land-Nord. From 1946 he was a member of the district council of the former district of Bonn .
