Gottfried Valentin Mansinger

Gottfried Valentin Mansinger (born October 4, 1737 in Pressburg , † July 18, 1817 in Regensburg ) was an Austrian portrait painter and draftsman.

Life

Mansinger was a student of Daniel Schmiddely (1705–1797). Around 1775 he took up residence in Regensburg, the city of the Perpetual Reichstag . Many princes and nobles let him portray them.
