Gotthilf Bayh
Gotthilf Bayh (born September 9, 1888 in Kaisersbach , † January 12, 1969 in Stuttgart ) was a German social democratic politician.
Career
Bayh was mayor of the Schmiden community from 1948 to 1962 . During his 14-year tenure, a number of infrastructural construction projects were implemented. In 1951 the peace school (Albert Schweitzer School), which was built with almost no own resources, was inaugurated. 1952 began with the construction of the sewer system. In addition, at Bayh's insistence, the first industrial park was developed.
He was also a member of the state parliament of Württemberg-Baden as a member of the SPD from 1950 to 1952 . After the formation of the south-western state, he was initially a member of the state constitutional assembly and from 1952 to 1960, as a direct candidate for the constituency of Waiblingen I, a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .
