Thank God Spindler
Gottlob Spindler (born May 10, 1812 in Stuttgart ; † November 12, 1876 there ) was a German architect and Württemberg construction clerk .
Not much is known about the dates of his life and work. It is believed that he completed an apprenticeship as a stonemason . It is known that he worked as a construction manager in the construction of the Cannstatter Kursaal and initially acted as a district construction inspector in Friedrichshafen and later as a building construction inspector at the Württemberg State Railways, most recently as a construction officer at the Domain Directorate, an authority affiliated with the "Oberfinanzkammer" (field goods- and building management) to be active.
