The Gould Islands are a group of three islands , each less than 1.5 km in length. They are located in the southwest section of Marguerite Bay , about 55 km northwest of Mount Bayonne on Alexander I Island . They include Abshire Island in the east, Higdon Island in the north, and Martinson Island in the south.

The islands were the research vessel 2009 RV Laurence M. Gould of the US National Science Foundation spotted. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named her after this ship.
