The Strandtorp burial grounds are prehistoric burial sites near the village of Strandtorp ( Borgholm municipality ) on the Swedish island of Öland in the Baltic Sea . The grave fields date from the Iron Age and Viking Age between 500 BC and 1050 AD.

On the 120 × 40 m field 1 there are around 50 graves, most of which are laid out as stone circles between 2.5 and 15 m in diameter. Some square cairns have erect stones at the corners. Two of the graves have been archaeologically examined. In a large, round burial mound, human bones and grave goods were found in the form of broken pottery , which could be dated to the 9th century AD.

On the 135 × 35 m field 2 there are eight stone circles between 4 and 12 m in diameter and four Treuddar .

To the north of the burial ground is the Strandtorp mill . Road number 136 is on the east side .
