Countess wanted - Adel auf Brautschau is a German documentary soap from Sat.1 in which nobles are looking for a partner . It ran from 2008 to 2009. The moderator is Marlene Lufen .

format

The series is based on the format Bauer sucht Frau , which has been broadcast by RTL since 2005 . Both programs are produced by MME Me, Myself & Eye Entertainment GmbH.

Four aristocratic men select a few from hundreds of applicants with whom they meet for a speed date . One or two candidates are then invited to his house by the nobleman to spend a week together and get to know each other.

The title of the show is misleading as only some of the candidates are counts. The other men have different titles of nobility.

Aristocratic associations criticized the level of the broadcast as inappropriate.

The noble men receive an expense allowance of 170,000 euros for the shipment.

First season

The four subjects were Moritz Graf zu Reventlow , Benedikt von Hobe , Constantin von zur Mühlen and Michael von Miller. They are between 37 and 47 years old.

The format got off to a relatively successful start with an audience rate of 12.9 percent.

Second season

The second season started in July 2009 with four subjects who are between 26 and 48 years old. The test subjects are Moritz Konstantin Burggraf and Count zu Dohna-Schlobitten , Tilo Baron von Donner, Johann Friedrich Carl Einar Count Villavicencio-Margheri and Christoph Graf von Preysing .
