The women's football department of the Grêmio Osasco Audax sports club was founded in 2015 and is currently one of the top division teams in Brazil .

history

For the 2015 season, Audax competed for the first time with a women's team for the state championship in São Paulo , which immediately advanced to the semi-finals of the final round.

In January 2016 Audax entered into a club partnership with SC Corinthians for the purpose of setting up a joint professional women's soccer team, which Arthus Elias was entrusted with training . Under the logo and in the colors of SC Corinthians, the team named Corinthians / Audax competed in the national women's football championship in the same year with the home of Prefeito José Liberatti in Osasco and ended this first season in fifth place in the overall standings. In addition, victory in the cup final was the first title win of the season. For the inaugural season of the A1 series in 2017 , both clubs competed with their own team, and Audax was awarded the qualifying place for the cup winners. The club partnership was continued and as such appeared again at the Copa Libertadores Femenina 2017 with a team, with the majority of the squad and coaching staff from Corinthians. On October 21, 2017, the cooperation won the Copa Libertadores after a final victory against the CSD Colo-Colo in Asunción . After this success, the partnership with Corinthians was completely ended.
