The Grünbergspitze , sometimes also Grünberger , is 2790 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Tux Alps in Tyrol .
At the summit of the Grünbergspitze, the doctor valley to the west meets the Navistal valley in the south and the Voldertal valley in the northeast. 700 meters north of the summit is the six meters higher Rosenjoch and about 500 meters southeast the Grafmartspitze 2720 m above sea level. A. . It is built from metamorphic rocks, which are attributed to the paleozoic Innsbruck quartz phyllite complex.
The mountain with the summit cross is not difficult to climb and is often visited when crossing from the Glungezerhütte to the Lizumerhütte . In winter, the Grünbergspitze is also a destination for ski tourers , who mainly ascend from the Navistal via the south side.
