The Apostle Ridge ( Polish Grań Apostołów ) is a mountain massif in the High Tatras with an altitude of about 2100  m npm in Poland .

Location and surroundings

Below the summit is the Meerauge mountain lake in the Fischseetal .

The neighboring peak is the Little Frog Point ( Żabi Szczyt Niżni ). To the west it falls down to the Meerauge mountain lake .

etymology

The name Grań Apostołów can be translated as Apostle Ridge , as the towers of the ridge are reminiscent of the Apostles. Seven of them are designated with Roman numerals from west to east as Apostle I to Apostle VII.

tourism

The Apostelgrat is not on a marked hiking trail, but was very popular with climbers. Climbing on the Apostelgrat has not been allowed since 1979.
