The tomb in the Düsseldorf Lambertus Church is described by Paul Clemen in Die Kunstdenkmäler der Stadt und der Kreis Düsseldorf as a tomb for Margaretha von Windeck , Duchess von Berg and Countess von Ravensberg . The hsl. Chronicle of Ewald Baichmann from 1625 and the ms . Monumenta et sepulturae comitum et principum from the 18th century, which believe that the figure of Elisabeth von Waldeck is depicted. Strauven also shares this opinion in the history of Düsseldorf Castle . Elisabeth von Waldeck († before June 22, 1385) was a daughter of Count Heinrich IV. Von Waldeck (1282 / 90-1348) and Adelheid von Cleve († after July 26, 1327). She was married to Johann von Nassau-Hadamar , who was the ruling Count of Nassau-Hadamar from 1334 to 1365 , and had ten children with him.

The monument was first walled up in the north aisle in the 18th century. In 1816 the tomb was considered lost. It was not discovered until 1851 in the grave vault of the mausoleum by Wilhelm von Jülich-Berg , who was Duke von Berg and Jülich and Count von Ravensberg .

The tumba is 2.30 m long, 1.06 m wide and 86 cm high. The side surfaces show six "nose-decorated pointed arches" on the long side and two on the narrow sides.

The top plate has been flattened at the edges. The inscription MISERICORDIAE PARENTI can be read on the front of a flattened edge of the cover plate . The coats of arms of Jülich , Berg and Waldeck can be seen on the opposite front .

The 1.80 m long stone figure of the Duchess lies on the tumba. The figure shows the elongated reclining figure of the noblewoman, whose body is wrapped in a cloak. The head of the figure is surrounded by a frilled hood that falls down to the shoulders.

The figure shows a noblewoman praying, her hands pressed flat against one another in front of her chest in a prayer. The feet are braced against two dogs.
