The grave slab for Antoine van Houtte and Barbe van Belle in the church of St-Mathieu von Flêtre , a French commune in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in the 16th century. The black marble grave slab was added to the list of listed buildings ( Base Palissy ) in France in 1905 as Monument historique .

The 1.16 meter wide and two meter long grave slab for Antoine van Houtte († 1506), landlord of Flêtre, and his wife Barbe van Belle († 1500) depicts the two reclining figures . Antoine van Houtte is wearing chain armor and a sword depicted, Barbe van Belle is dressed in a long dress and bonnet . An angel holds two coats of arms at the top. The reclining figures are framed by a garland .
